In the year that the Metro of São Paulo completes its fiftieth anniversary, Intertechne completes the majority in the performance of the projects for the Metro. 18 years ago, the company started its first work with the development of the project of the Paulista Station of Line 4 Yellow. In the sequency, miscellaneous projects for stations, ventilation shafts and emergency exits were developed for the same line and for the Line 2 Green, Line 6 Orange, Line 15 Silver.
The lines 17 Gold and 19 Celeste were the most recent. For the line 17 engineering services were provided for the surveillance and inspection in the implantation of the electrics, electronics, mechanics and rolling stock systems. “For the Line 19, especially, we developed the basic architecture, civil engineering and systems project focusing in the good practices of the engineering and sustainability and in the relation with the surroundings of the urban insertion.”, highlights Flavia Viviani Tormenta Albertoni, Technical Director of Infrastructure at Intertechne.

The engineer highlights that the project of the 19th Line is the first in the Metro, where the entire line was designed in BIM. “The expertise of Intertechne in Building Information Modelling allowed us to develop the project with the disciplines evolving in an integrated way in BIM models, without the circulation of 2D documents. All procedures have been done in specific software, that enabled the client’s visualization and comments, resulting in a compatible project”, complements Flavia.
The project of the 19th Line has been done in Consórcio with another 4 companies and it started in January 2022. Its layouts connect the center of the city of São Paulo with the Municipality of Guarulhos, to help in the redistribution of the demand of passengers and facilitate the intermunicipal transport, promoting connections with existents lines. “Our Infrastructure Unit works with the multidisciplinary team specialized in the development of consulting services, studies and engineering and architecture projects in all phases of the enterprise, such as subway, Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), from its conception to the executive. Therefore, participate of participating in such an important date as this is so rewarding for our team. Congratulations to the São Paulo’s Subway. May many more years of celebration and partnership between us come”, celebrate Beatriz Mulinari Pinheiro Machado, Unit Director of Infrastructure at Intertechne.
